The second day of SXSW started with my workshop! I presented an hour and a half long workshop introducing designers to Arduino and how to prototype with it. It was well attended, almost 30 participants, who were really engaged, asking great questions, and all of them got their circuits working! It’s so rewarding to see people new to Arduino successfully light up an LED and buzz their buzzer.

After my workshop I managed to find an event that had champagne so I could celebrate appropriately!

Then it was on to wandering about the “activations” and making my way to the convention center for Neil Gaiman (one of my favorites in case you missed it). He was talking about Good Omens and American Gods.

At one point the Order of Chattering Nuns interrupted the interview to file in and sing a song, but we were shortly back to the talk and then watching a sneak peek of a scene from the opening episode of Good Omens!
After the panel, we had the Argo design happy hour for clients and friends. Super fun and super full. After a crazy long day (I was up at 6 to give my talk at 9:30!) I headed home to sleep (and deal with daylight savings time).
